Rear- facing  is one of the most important thing when a baby (infant) is on board.  Children who are not in a rear-facing position  have a bigger (increased) chance of injuries or death in a accident,  also if your child is not rear-facing and isn’t restrained properly, your poor child will fly out your vehicle. babies should rear-face for as long as possible (extended rear-facing beyond 1 year+22 pounds). When your child is under the age of 1, they must rear-face, you can tell when a car seat is a rear-facing seat because it has a harness and will provide your child with the best protection he/she can get.

When combined with seat belts, air bags will protect adults and teenagers from getting an injury. They have saved most lives in many serious accidents, but with infants and children its a lot more dangerous, kids can be killed or injured if riding a car and sitting in the front seat when the airbag is opened. Air bags also break the bones of children if sitting in the passenger seat, this is also  a reason why child seats should not be restrained in the passenger seat.
